Ripe, primary fruit flavours of dark cherries and blackcurrant along with dark chocolate and dried herbs. It finishes with soft, subtle tannins, warm spice and toasty oak
Nottage Hill was released in 1967 to honour and celebrate the contribution of Thomas Hardy Nottage. Nottage Hill wines are at the heartland of the Hardys portfolio. Known for their consistency, approachable style and balance, Nottage Hill has become a favourite around the world.
The vineyards enjoyed this weather helping to produce grapes which showed dense colour, flavour, and fine soft tannins. The resultant wines are a mirror image of the fruit with a vibrant core of colour, sweet flavours, and long flavoursome palates.
An excellent year for red wines, with a long growing season consisting of warm mild days.
