The Master Blender's Blend Finest Malt and Grain Whiskies "When John Walker first established his family business in 1820 he began a lineage of pioneering whisky craftsmen that continues unbroken to this day. The expertise and carefully honed skills of these craftsmen have been passed down from generation to generation, each crafting innovative whisky flavours with deep character to be savoured and enjoyed all around the world. Inspired by this rich tradition, we have today created Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve, a vibrant ad contemporary celebration of the art of blending Scotch Whisky. As Master Blender I have personally chosen casks of my favourite whiskies from selected reserves to craft this whisky of vibrant character. They include casks of Clynelish Single Malt Whisky whose water source flows from the Kildonan Hills where gold was discovered in 1868. These whiskies are then brought together to create a smooth, creamy and beautifully balanced blend with deep layers of rich flavour. The result is a sweet and fruity Scotch that evolves into deep honeyed tones and long, lingering waves of light smoke. Best served over crushed ice with a slice of orange, this is a whisky that is every bit as luxurious and indulgent as its name suggests.
