Tasting Notes
Bright gold with youthful flashes of green, tropical pineapple and honey melon aromas explode on entry yielding cohesive delicate lemon lime flavours tinged with subtle oak complexity and a generous yet graceful zesty fruit finish.

For over 70 years, we have sourced and selected grapes to best express our South African wine land origins. Douglas Green was convinced that the quality and character of the varied vineyards of the Western Cape should not be confined, but rather combined to express the best of each region.
Wine of Origin Western Cape with fruit sourced from Robertson, Bonnievale, Wellington and Breedekloof.
The grapes were vinified separately in appointed cellars under the care and control of our Oenologist. Each parcel was fermented at 13°C and left on the fine lees. A portion of the wine was matured on French oak to give a subtle influence. Particular regional selection allows for added complexity and dimension by final blending of components in our cellars in Wellington.
